Maybe there's a major misunderstanding going on, then; plenty of information was there from the beginning, maybe you simply didn't see it?
You provided one information about your system - RetroPie 3. Compared to the info you provided later, I wouldn't call it plenty.
So the problem is that it's not possible for people to read the log file off of a screencap, which I provided? Is it not allowed? Is it too hard to see?
The screeencap you provided is from the correct log file, but without verbose logging - that's why I asked you to enable it before running the game.

Is it wrong of me to have Retropie 3? Is it impossible to look for help here because I have this version of Retropie?
It's not impossible, but you should really update eventually to avoid potential problems. Most of us haven't used these older software versions in quite some time and have even forgotten many of the eccentricities that have since been corrected. As a result, troubleshooting can be extremely difficult.

Screencaps are indeed difficult for people to read. You have to understand that everyone here wants to help, but they're doing so out of a simple desire to be considerate to others who are having trouble. That same level of consideration is appreciated from those asking for help as well. Surely you have to admit that offering as much information as possible and making it easy to inspect is really not a lot to ask for free technical support.

@hapanpappa not sure how you think you know what's relevant. Unnecessary to get argumentative/defensive about this - you are here asking us for help. Providing the information we ask for can help us diagnose issues. Eg. Old Kodi used to crash with PS3 controllers connected. So controller information can be relevant even if it may seem not.

Pi model: Refer to initial post
Where? When you say Retropie 3, do you actually mean you are running a raspberry Pi3B? or a B+? or a 1 etc?
Retropie Version Used: Refer to initial post
Where? Are you really running version 3 of Retropie (circa 2015)? I started 2 years ago on 3.8!! is this a mistake? Did you use the official image? or a third party one?
Emulator: Refer to initial post
Which emulator? Where does it say? There are 7 SNES emulators for example?
Maybe there's a major misunderstanding going on, then; plenty of information was there from the beginning, maybe you simply didn't see it?
There is no information there so definitely a misunderstanding but definitely on your part. I also think there are 3 NES emulators in retropie.
It's all guesswork when there is no clear indication of which emulator on which retropie version on which hardware we are talking which is why you probably should have just posted what you agreed to post when you registered. Saves a load of time.

If I'm defensive, then you're offensive to the same extent - I simply shared what was going through my mind when I didn't share my controller type and other stuff in my first post. That's not being argumentative or defensive. I proceeded to immediately provide said information after I understood what was asked of me. As you said, I came asking for help, and provided every bit of info I knew how to - I'm not the one hung up on argumentation. As far as I'm concerned, you've already won, since you want to make it into a competition.

For the 3rd time, Retropie 3. Version 3. If I'm being defensive, maybe it's because people are clearly being offensive, this being a clear indicator. Why else would people get so hung up on this. I said it from the start.
I'm quite sure I used an official image. Is it such an unbelievable thing to not update a platform such as this? As to the raspberry pie or the hardware, I have no recollection other than it was 3. Bought it off ebay such a long time ago.Which emulator? Where does it say? There are 7 SNES emulators for example?

As I have said from the beginning, the info was there. If your only job in life atm is ignoring that fact and being accusatory towards me as a result, more power to you. You keep on making some assertions that simply aren't true. I don't get it - why?
This has been an interesting dialogue and told me much about your community. I thank you for all the support I got. I showed the error code I provided in the op to a rl friend and he told me what was wrong based on that alone - problem solved.

No offense, but did you notice that you make exactly such assertions one sentence before?

Whatever the sample size of four can tell about a whole community.
