So I got fed up waiting for someone else to make something for PCSX2 and RetroPie so I wrote a couple scripts to do it for me.
You can find the code at https://github.com/ringnutz/retropie-pcsx2-wrapper, hopefully someone else finds it useful.
Should be fairly easy to modify for other emulators as well

Hello, tx for your script.... For no it's not running on my Retropie install. I have one question.... When you saind "runcommand-onstart.sh" is executed when Retropie start, we need to do nothing or we need to add a line to a retropie startup script ?

So I have a few events how do I know the right one? Can't wait to give this a try.

Never mind total newbe here I found the answer in the URL on the gamepad script that told me how to find it. Thanks again this answered lots of my prayers.

@ringnutz how would one do this lets say for the Dolphin emulator? I have to say it works great for the PS2
