GPU and CPU showing on screen.

Hi guys,
I have a raspberry pi 3 and recently bought a LCD screen for it, but it is showing the GPU and CPU ratings. How do I hide this as it can be really annoying?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Looks like some info added by a driver/overlay. How did you install the system ? Some info about the system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first, would be helpful.
