Can't Use Keyboard in Scummvm?

Retro Version 4.4.8
Pre made imagine from here.
Pi 3 B+

When playing Scummvm games I can use my controller (PS2 style controller) no problem. My keyboard's arrow keys, F keys and escape key also work just fine as well.

However when I need to type something in Scummvm game, like a phone number (Leisure Larry) or badge number (police quest) it doesn't work.

Still new to this and confused as to why letter keys don't register but all other keys do.

Are you trying to use the Numpad keys to enter numbers ? Make sure you numlock is on.

@mitu No the top numbers, it's a small keyboard no number pad.

I'm using ScummVM from Retropie 4.5.1 and have a similar issue. When trying to SAVE games using ScummVM, I cannot get any of the letters to work either. A few keys work (Q seems to work as an ENTER key, and A kicks out a period, Backspace works) but nothing else seems make sense. I'm using a Logitech USB keyboard with a trackpad built in.

Please start a new topic providing details of set up and which emulator you are using - there are multiple scummvm packages in RetroPie.
