I updated my Retropie script, and in the process it updated my FBA to FBNeo. Now, half of the games do not run, and I am not able to select FBA as the emulator to run the roms. Is there a way to revert my Retropie to run FBA instead of FBNeo? If not, is there a way to make FBNeo read all of my FBA roms? Like I said, for some reason, half of the roms still work.

    Thanks,

@TheBlueBanner you can revert to your backup :) https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Updating-RetroPie

FBNeo is the new name for FBAlpha - after each update, a new romset is supported, with new games supported, and older games may require new romsets. you should just download a new romset collection for the current version.

I downloaded and replaced the roms with the new romset, yet the games are still not loading. Is there something more I should do other than just replacing the roms?

        Thanks again,

@TheBlueBanner after a failed load, please post the runcommand log: /dev/shm/runcommand.log

          that should show the error

I am not sure if this is what you are looking fore. I was trying to run X-men, Children of the Atom. Here is what I saw when I opened the log.

            Paramerters:
            Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbneo/fbneo_libretro.so -config /opt/retropie/configs/fba/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/fbaxmcotau.zip" -appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarc$

@TheBlueBanner could you try again when running in verbose mode? it's an option in the runcommand when launching
