Pi Model or other hardware: (3B+)
      Power Supply used: (12V/3A)
      RetroPie Version Used (4.4.1):
Built From: (Raspbian Buster with desktop)
      USB Devices connected: Logitech F710
      Controller used: Logitech F710
Error messages received: None I have seen
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
      Guide used: (https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/PC-9800)
      File: (home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc98/Rusty.hdi)
      Emulator: (PC 9800)
      Attachment of config files:
How to replicate the problem: start rom

I can't get my controller to work for games in PC 9800. I've looked at the retroarch menu for settings/inputs/input binds and and I don't think anything is out of the ordinary. My controller works in other emulator games so my system controller setup must be good. Can anyone help?

There is more information about the input handling at https://github.com/libretro/NP2kai.

@mitu Thanks. I read that and it didn't answer my question. I figured it out anyway though.

How did you resolve this issue? I'm running into the same problem

@phineascage I have a similar problem. What did you do to get the controller input to work?
