lr-flycast does not run Atomiswave or Naomi games (log show just the launch string)

I am trying to run some Atomiswave and Naomi games but when I run any of those, I just get the startup screen (the one that say press a button to configure) and then it goes back to menu.

Dreamcast games run fine, although they do not use flycast. Also I didn't realize that flycast is the reicast core renamed for some reasons; most of the tutorials I found were pointing at reicast while in fact it is flycast.

I see the bios correctly in retropie/Bios/DC folder; and for peace of mind I even created a folder for Atomiswave and Naomi in the config folder and placed a data folder in there with the dreamcast and Naomi bios in there; as described in a tutorial I found online.

I am not sure why it quits; the log I get from runcommand is just showing the startup string used to run the game, no errors so I have no clue why it is not starting. Is there another log that I can check, saved somewhere else ?

Or should I use another core/emulator for Naomi and Atomiswave?

the roms name's got to be the original name roms like in the arcade ...

I see, that may be the issue then. I just have 1 game for each platform because I wanted to try them out. Thanks for the hint!

Is there a website that show the content of each ROM file? I wish I could see the log like I do with mame games, so I can see where the problem lies

http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/ is a pretty good resource to check out any MAME ROM.

EDIT: to see any details in the log, you'll need to enable verbose logging from the runcommand launch menu.
