HELP!!!
Is it safe to use super glue or something similar to reattach half of my card reader?Using my home console.

Do you have a photo, which card reader, is the raspi micro se reader, what home console?
Their information is very vague, and it is difficult to think of an action plan as such. -
I don't have a photo but can take one if you would like. By home console I was referring to the setup described in my signature. The issue is with my Pi's micro SD card reader and I'm wondering if super glue/hot glue will mess up the Pi if I glue the reader to secure it back on.

Oh, well I guess I could use hot glue because I put some on my Pi 0 to hold it to the screen but the 0 gets nowhere near as hot. I just don't know if the Pi 4's heat would melt the hot glue.

@IceChes1 it depends on the type of hotglue you are using. There are some low temp varieties that have a relatively low melting point. However I believe the average hotglue melts at much higher temps, much higher than the operating temps of a raspberry pi.

We're looking at maybe 140 degrees fahrenheit, (so like 60 celsius, sorry, I'm an American.)
My little Pi 4 2GB is a workhorse. It runs RetroPie, Chromium, all without breaking a sweat, staying well under 50 C, but I'm soon going to install Minecraft Java on it and then I think it will run a quite hot 60 to 70 C. Even with it's aluminum, fan cooled case.

I compile with the -j4 flag and that will max out the processor, mine never gets above 60c with Canakit case, fan, and heatsinks. You should be good.

@VictimRLSH OK. I just did some googling and I should be good. The melting point of the stuff is 250 F. (120 C.) So I'm fine. And because the glue will be over on the SD card reader then I should be fine.

I don't think super glue would work because if it heats up anything over "kinda hot" it melts and starts to smell awful. Another bad glue to use is that stuff you use on fake fingernails. Smells bad without any heat or anything. It has toxic fumes. I once tried to attach a fan to a motor shaft with it. I turned the fan on and it started to blow a cloud of basically poison into the air. It was like hitting a wall. I started coughing, my lungs were burning, my eyes were watering, the whole nine yards. So yeah. If you need to fix your Pi with glue, hot glue is the way the go.
