Retro Moonlight setup is now fixed: Stream your desktop games using retropie
-
If like me you like to stream your pc games on your tv using your Pi, you may know that several options exists.
But if you have an Nvidia Gpu, on very good option is moonlight. One guy made a project: Retro Moonlight, which will install Moonlight as an "Emulator" and allows you to stream your games either from steam, or directly if declared in "nvidia geforce experience".
Unfortunately this project is now broken due to libraries issues. So I forked it and fixed its setup, and allow fixed minor bugs so games as "L.A Noire" are correctly parsed from the gamelist.

Thanks for the fix. This is highly appreciated! :)

Thank you so much for this! Works great and love it.
Can I ask how to make the stream default to 1080p? -

Retro Moonlight
Does this solve anything that RetroPie's built in scriptmodule doesn't already (https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/19872/moonlight-request-for-comments-and-testing)?
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
