@mitu I installed the official RetroPie 4.6 rpi4 image running on 32-bit raspbian lite. Also sorry about the romsite problem. Won’t happen again!

@mitu Since you’re a Global moderator, would you have any explanation of what is going on with the problem of roms not booting on RetroPie? Is it a bug or a file error? The only configuration I did today was to add a super game boy system by editing the es_systems.cfg file. I think that installing emulators adds more lines to the es_systems.cfg so maybe it is that?

That's not the reason for which systems or roms would disappear. Please provide the info asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first to diagnose this problem.

USB Devices connected: Mouse, keyboard, 5 dragonrise joystick controllers, arcade 1up spinner, arcade 1up trackball
Controller used: Dragonrise USB controller
Error messages received: ROMs will not boot except for parse gamelist ROMs

Retropie is not designed to be run from the desktop on a Raspberry Pi. Either exit the desktop and try again from the terminal or use a premade image from our site, which will probably be easier.

@BuZz I am running the official RetroPie image from the RetroPie site. I just want an answer or solution to why my games aren’t loading.

The official RetroPie image doesn't come with the desktop and - as it was repeatedly said in this topic - we don't support this configuration.

@Brandon12345678 you can have the pixel desktop installed, but you can't run retropie via it. you need to exit out of it back to the command line to launch retropie. this is mentioned in the docs: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#where-did-the-desktop-go

@dankcushions I am not running RetroPie via the pixel desktop. My pi is set to boot right into RetroPie upon startup.

Start EmulationStation with the
--debugswitch from the command line and then post the log ($HOME/.emulationstation/es_log.txt) to pastebin.com.
Disable first the Parge Gamelists Only setting. -
@mitu I have never done the debug switch before. Would you just type —debug in the command line before entering EmulationStation?
