Light gun and mouse problems.

I have a question. For the nes zapper on RetroPie, is it possible to use a mouse for the movement and a joystick button for shooting? Also is it possible to switch the zapper turbo mode on for games like yoshi’s safari with a button.
The second question also involve a mouse. Is it possible to assign joystick buttons to the left and right click of the mouse? I can’t get past the title screen it Mario paint. For these games I am using a trackball and for the light gun games I am using a wii remote with dolphin bar.
