Can you show a listing of the psx ROM folder ? How did you copy the files on the Pi ? Did you restart EmulationStation after copying the files ?

Are you using a custom es_systems.cfg?

I've not altered that file, so just the default version.

Do you change the 'Parse Metadata only' in EmulationStation to 'On' ? The files look ok, the folder looks ok, unless you have another retropie system on your network, they should show up. The PS1 emulator is installed and configured by default on the RetroPIe image, so there's no need to re-install it.

@bandicoot88 Set it to Off and restart EmulationStation.

@mitu @bandicoot88 I am having the same problem. What are the steps to set the 'Parse Metadata only' in EmulationStation to 'off' on my pie4. I am fairly new to this. Please and thank you.

@psant By default, this option is unset, so unless you turn it on, you shouldn't have this problem. How did you install RetroPie ?

Press Start on your controller and choose Other Settings. There you are.

                          edit: typo
