      Hi !

I'm looking for an alternative to kiosk mode in order to hide the shell script command in the game list. Deleting the file does nothing, hiding in the metadata menu doesn't work after reboot, kiosk mode is not a solution for me... I cannot manage to find where this line is located in RetroPie. An other special secret gamelist.xml ?

@HurricaneFan Thank you, but I've already tried these recommandations. Actually this file was visible first time I downloaded the emulator, and there was no gamelist.xml anywhere, no roms... I never managed to make it disappear from the frontend. Renaming, deleting... No way at all. Kiosk mode is the only solution for the moment.

OK I finally understood : I don't know how it's possible, but it seems that ES was updating my gamelist.xml at startup. The only way to remove it was to precisely follow these steps :

            • delete the file in the frontend
            • and then ssh and editing gamelist.xml to delete the corresponding <game></game>
            • reboot and ... clean !

@Yobiwan Deleting the file from roms/scummvm works. Did you enable the 'Parse gamelists only' option in EmulationStation by any chance ?
