cheat download task failed

I' ve this problem with all my 3 Raspberrys(3b, 3b+ and 4 4gb) with updated Retropie : After unlock "online updater" if I try to "update cheats" ( but I've the same problem with all "update" choices) retroarch gives me this error:
download "cheats.zip" task failed
I used two different networks, and and I had the same problem.
Alternatively where can I download the "cheat.zip*"file?

My guess is because of the recent Libretro hack, no assets are currently available for download - including cheats.
