Dreamcast games keep crashing 10-15 seconds after starting
-
I'm using ReDream because I heard it works better and have loaded some games onto my Pi4 Retropie 4.7.1.
2 of the games run well (RE3 and Tennis 2k2 but the rest crash a few seconds after selecting "Start Game" from the game menu. This happens with Crazy Taxi 1 and 2, RE Code Veronica, Sega GT (Refuses to work altogether), Sega Rally 2 and Soul Calibur. No idea what the issue could be as I have all the required BIOS.

@danmac2 Hello there. Same thing here. As a way to track the issue, I installed a fresh copy of RetroPi 4.7.1 with the official RB Imager, installed only Redream Binary and a couple of games: Soul Calibur / Crazy Taxy 2 / Virtua Tennis. They all crash with a sig-fault error. Any help?
Raspberry 4 - 4gb - 128gb card - With not-updated iso, stuffed with DC games, it still works perfectly. Can't think anything else than a bug in a recent update of something ;-) both Retropie or Redream, since it happens, as said, on a fresh install with nothing more than that package installed :-)
If needed, I can provide logs or further testing.

@danmac2 some (all?) of these are windows CE games: https://segaretro.org/Windows_CE
note that windows CE dreamcast emulation only works in flycast, and only in aarch64 mode, which is not officially supported in raspberry pi OS or retropie. it's a slideshow in my testing, anyway.

@dankcushions Damn, so there is no way I'd be able to play the games I've listed on my Pi. But that doesnt really explain why Crazy Taxi 1/2 keep crashing as according to the list they're not WinCE games.

@danmac2 Soul Calibur should work too, i´ve got it running pretty well using lr-flycast.
EDIT: RE: Cove Veronica & SEGA GT run as well as there are not WinCE. -
@sirhenrythe5th Ill Uninstall ReDream and try Flycast and see if the same thing happens
