        @seannyboy08

        Hi everyone i do appreciate my last card image had a third party image but that's because of my ignorance not reading the first documentation, but however i'm now starting from scratch and using my own roms and this arcade has been 3 years in the making for my kids.

        I'm i correct in thinking that anyone on this forum that makes even one mistake gets "BLACK LISTED", and your silence will speak for all of you - would that be a correct assumption ?

        Kind Regards

        Sean

          No, there's no such 'tag' to silence or blacklist users - it's just that no users responded to your topic.

          The issue you're reporting - no WiFi interface detected - should be solvable by configuring your country first from raspi-config and then the WiFi will be un-blocked by the system and you can configure it.

              @mitu After this it asks this -

              Choose one of these options also -

              None
              C.UTF-8
              en_GB_utf-8 - I've been ticking this

              Sean

                You don't need to set the locale (which is en_GB.utf-8 by default anyway), but the country. See https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/wireless/wireless-cli.md.

                  No. Do raspi-config -> Localization Settings -> WLAN Country.

                            @seannyboy08 Are you sure that your WiFi is now working (i.e. you've set the WiFi country) ? What's the output of the following command:

                            iwconfig wlan0

                              @mitu

                              When I type in iwconfig this is the outcome -

                              lo no wireless extensions.

                              enxb827ebf18d83 no wireless extensions.

                              Do I need to get a new raspberry pi and replace the microprocessor ?

                                And if I type iwconfig wlan0 this is the outcome -

                                wlan0 no such device

                                  iwconfig doesn't list your WiFi interface - it may not be enabled. Did you use raspi-config to set the WiFi country, as advised ?

                                  The interface name for the wired interface is also not something that's present on a RetroPie or Raspberry Pi OS image - what image did you use to install the system ?

                                  Do I need to get a new raspberry pi and replace the microprocessor ?

                                  I don't think so.

                                    When I run raspi-config and go to localization settings then WLAN Country it says this -

                                    no wireless interface found
                                    and then on the next page after I press ok it says this -

                                    There was an error running option L4 WLAN Country
                                    and then the only option again is to press OK ?
