Games not launching on Raspberry Pi 4/RetroPie
-
Hey, I'm new to the RetroPie. I got my Raspberry Pi 4 (8gb) yesterday and managed to install a few games. I got a few consoles that don't want to work such as SNES, Genesis, GBA, and PSX. I can only play my N64 and Atari 2600 games right now.
Is there a way to fix the emulators that I have and also install more later on? Thanks!

@mrrussellgro it's possible you don't have the files for those games in the correct format. I'd recommend checking the guide on what format the emulators can read. Also make sure you have the bios files loaded in the right folders.

@tusabez Alright. I am gonna check tomorrow to see if everything is in the right folder and I will tell you then. Thanks! :)

@mrrussellgro please provide all the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first if you still have issues

@tusabez Okay, so I checked to see if everything was set up and they are. Thing is I still can't get my PSX, GBA, Genesis, and SNES games to run. What the weird part is that I can't go to the RetroArch menu as well.

@mrrussellgro What format do you have your ROMs in? For example, SNES games should be in a zip format to read. PSX games need a bin and cue file for each game.

@tusabez Nevermind. Apparently I changed the layout for Retroarch a while back which made them not playable. I got them running now. Thanks though!
