Question about Mesa (Vulkan) Driver
-
Hi all,
looking for retropie enhancement, I saw some videos on youtube about Mesa driver. It seems they can boost performance on N64 and PSP games. I cannot find nothing about installation and setup of these drivers. Do you know where can I find instructions about that? -
No suggestions?

please don't bump posts.
retropie doesn't support the vulkan driver so it would require the retropie script to be modified to be utilised it. to install it you need to build latest mesa - https://docs.mesa3d.org/install.html - there's various scripts and prepared binaries on the net, but if you don't know what you're doing i would just wait until it's part of raspberry pi OS, and supported by retropie.

@dankcushions ok, thanks. Do you think it will be added to retropie?

@pscotto1234 dankcushions allready answered this question: as soon as it is part of the RasperryOS it might be also supported by retropie ;)
