Can't remove text in bootscreen
-
I've a problem, i can't hide te following text.
http://i63.tinypic.com/2ppzic6.jpg -
Set
console=tty3
inboot/cmdline.txt
(hide boot commands scrolling)Set
logo.nologo
inboot/cmdline.txt
(hide raspberry pi logo at boot) -
This is the cmdline.txt what i'm using:
dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=tty9 console=serial0,115200 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait quiet loglevel=3 consoleblank=0 quiet loglevel=3 logo.nologo
-
I boot into kodi, could that be the probleem?
-
you should remove the duplicate entries also - you have
quiet loglevel=3
twice -
@BuZz That wasn't it, got the text when i rebooted the pi.
-
@Sander2506 did you try tty3 instead of tty9?
-
You can edit /etc/motd also to remove post login text
-
@BuZz It removes the line"The programs..." untill "aplicable law."
The first four lines arn't gone yet... but we getting there. -
with a splash screen and ES loading, you don't see the text anyway at least on my system with the boot text on another tty. You can increase the time the splash is displayed for if you do.
-
@BuZz so if i change the way retropie boots first emulationstation then Kodi, the tekst won't show?
-
if you are using retropie 4.x you can add
clear
to the top of/opt/retropie/configs/all/autostart.sh
-
@BuZz the text flashed by, I used a short intro movie.
I will change the length of the movie and will let you know. -
@BuZz it worked, thnx...
