      Hello Forum,

recently it is no longer possible to use the gamepad for navigation in the retropie setup. For example, i cant get into the setup area by pressing a gamepad button when the"press a button..."-screen show up. Navigation in the retropie setup is only possible via keyboard. Previously this was also possible with the gamepad. Any ideas?

Is this the only place it's not working? That one is a specific setting in the runcommand configuration: "launch menu joystick control." If it's turned off, the gamepad won't open the launch menu; helpful if you're trigger-happy waiting for the game to start like me.

Can you check if the joy2key package (from the core packages section) is installed ? If it's not, then install it and try again.

@mitu : Thank you very much. After installing Joy2key, the navigation works again with the gamepad. Thanks for the good advice.
