      You guys are very shy!

About Phoenix: I still don't understand when I have a shield to use. How can I know if I have one? There's no indication on the screen. I know we start a stage with one, but after some time we can use it again.

@meleu you press "A" to use the shield. Once gone, you must wait 7 seconds to use the shield again.

I didn't know that. Must be the reason why I sucked at it :D

I did, but I still sucked. lol. For me it was just I couldn't get us to the timing of how the ship fires. I know that sounds super lame but this game always felt so different for me.

I say we should pick three games for Round 2.. I'd like for one of them to be Gyruss. If you folks want to add Dig-Dug on that list then that would be cool too. Just to have more than just space shooters.

But yeah. 3 Games for this weekend. Just find something we all agree on.

@lilbud I like to join forums in english exactly to improve my skill in this language. :-)

                        So, I'm prepared sir!

I think there are some of my posts here in the forum where I chose wrong words and couldn't express myself very well... I'm still learning.

@meleu I understand you quite well because I'm an english rookie too. Mostly I fail some sentences grammatically but hey, If I think most of it makes sense I think other people do too.

Wow. It's hard to a father of two demons little cute angels find enough time to play this much on a weekend... Well, I'll pick one of the 3 and try as hard as I can. :-)

I believe one one game would be good to one lace one because there are not enough people to do multiple games and still have it be just as competitive as the first week

You know what would be cool? Doing a sports (could be an another genre too as long the game allows you to play against an another player) tournament, I mean like a multi player game in which people from this board compete to each other just like it goes in a real competition. The game could be from any system in which we all will vote for. So for an example it would look like this:

We have 4 people who want to participate. So it's going to be lets say some soccer game on Neogeo.

                                      So the first match is:

                                      Player 1 vs Player 2

                                      Second match is:

                                      Player 3 vs Player 4

And the winners from these matches will play against each other in the final match.

We could call it "Retrolympics" or "RetroCup" or "RetroGames". I don't know guys this idea just popped into my head when I was browsing this topic. What do you think? Cool idea or naaaaah.

Well RetroPie has online multiplayer support.

I think we could run the tournament like this:

Please sign up just via this board. We make the pools. Players compete against each other and send the result as a screenshot. The winners will play against each other until the last match.

I think we would need a small space to host the images on and the pools info. It's just for people who are members on this board, just a tournament for fun. Outsiders are not welcome lol.

@PetroRie I also like the idea and there would have to be a way for others to watch it like a live Twitch stream but I think it would be too complicated to pull off. If we all lived in the same town and could meet in the same building and do this, that would be fun but I know we're all over the world. I won't say it's impossible but there would be a lot of overhead involved.
