I put the Retropie image for Pi Zero on an 8GB SD card and it boots just fine, etc. I then made a directory on a USB flash drive called "retropie", plugged it into the Pi Zero, waited until the flash drive light stopped blinking, checked it on my computer, and there's only 28 directories under \retropie\roms. I was able to put ROMs in nes and atari2600 and they works fine, but it seems a few are missing I was looking for such as intellivision and apple2.

I can't find any information about this online, such as do both Retropie images (the one for 0/1 and 2/3) contain all the same emulators? And why do some low powered systems such as apple2 and intellivision not appear?

Even if I make an intellivision directory and place roms in it, along with grom.bin and exec.bin in the correct location, Retropie doesn't detect them. What's going on?

Wow thanks. I don't know why in the several hours I've been messing with this I never found that.

Upon reading more of these links, I think the big problem for me is I have a Pi Zero, and if I'm not mistaken, installing add'l emulators really requires an Internet connection. This is obviously a problem, unless maybe if I had a USB hub.

I tried following the instructions, found the emulator on the list, but it simply complains it can't find it. So for now at least, I'm taking the path of least resistance and getting 3.8.1. If it does the job, I'll keep using it. If there's some way to install these add'l emulators thru a USB flash drive, please let me know. There seems to be a good bit of confusion around this.
