    Hi Everyone,

I have read the topics surrounding this but I am complete newbie to all of this.

I tried changing the map-buttons config from =1 to =0 and that didn't work and I don't know how to install anything from scratch.

    Any ideas?

Can you add more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?

Not sure what you're referring to ? What and where exactly did you change ?

        @mitu

Pi Model or other hardware: 4
Power Supply used: USB C MAINS
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.1
        Built From: RasperryPi RetroPi Imager
        USB Devices connected: Keyboard/Mouse
Controller used: Xbox Series X Wireless
        Error messages received:
        Verbose log (if relevant):
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable)
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
How to replicate the problem: When configuring my XSX Controller when I try to configure the Back Triggers they either come up as AXIS -4.-5 or They don't come up.

I saw on another post that I can change the config in the etc/modprobe.d/xpad.conf to change the value from 1 to 0 and that didn't do anything.

        Hope that's enough?

Is this a typo ? 4.1 is a really old RetroPie release which wouldn't run on a Pi4.

But the triggers are actually Axis, not buttons - it's ok if they register as such. Is this an issue when you use an emulator ?

Since you're using a wireless (I assume Bluetooth connected) gamepad, then the options you've changed for the xpad module will have no effect, since xpad handles only wired Xbox controllers.
