You enabled Kid mode in EmulationStation - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Child-friendly-EmulationStation/#ui-modes to see how it works and how to get out of it.

Did you try to use the Konami code with the controller, as instructed in the documentation ?

Extra hint: the Konami Code does work only with analog stick with some input devices (i e. 8BitDo Pads)

Do you have a controller attached to the system ? Are you using a keyboard ? How did you install RetroPie ?

@samuca-123 OK, so enter the Konami code using your gamepad - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Code.

@samuca-123 did you install Retropie by yourself?
I just wonder because setting up a retropie-system is much more complicated than entering the konami-code.
Mitu also asked how you installed retropie ;)

Just enter the code once RetroPie is started up and the front-end shows the list of systems. Same place where you press start to open the menu.

I'm not sure why you think I was upset - I'm not.

On the other hand, if it turns out you are the kid for which the Kid mode got turned on, somebody else may get upset :)
