Here is a tricky one. I now get BIN.
But here is a tricky one. I got this rom and opened it, first i upzipped up and open it and out of the blue, i was seeing all of these file types.
.BIN .U2 .U3. U4. U5 .U6 .U7 .U8 .U9 .U14 .U15 .U16 .U17 .U18. U19 .U20 .U21 .U22 .U23 .U24 .U25 .U26 .U27 .U28 .U29 .U10 .U11 .U12 .U13
Weird right. So is there or is there not any emulator that will run this. looks like crap to.

@raspberry79 If it is a PS1-Image: yes.
When it is for another system: no.

How can that be that you dont know for which system this images is?
Where did you get it from? "suprise-rom_download.com"?

you've been instructed on what to do with zip files several times, and you've been dissuaded from this 'i have a random rom, what system is it for?' approach more times than i can be bothered to locate. it's time to stop repeating the same questions and read what people have already told you.

Mmm, i guess that this is my fist time putting roms on retropie.
I just had Kodi on my Pi 4 watching my mp4 and just here lately install retropie and started adding roms t it.
So the .BIN file will work with any one that has .BIN ROM Extension(s)

no! a .bin file could be:

a CD image for one of the ~10 CD-based systems retropie supports
a BIOS file for one of the ~20 BIOS-using systems retropie supports
a non-emulation file
garbage

a given file will only work in one of those contexts, not all. about the only useful way of identifying a file from the name/extension alone is by googlng the name of the game in the file name and finding out about it, but even then many games were released for multiple systems.

the approach of trying to identify mystery files after the fact is totally unnecessary.

@raspberry79 I know I shouldn’t be responding because everyone else has answered you, but I feel need to simplify cause you seem lost.
A file extension, be it a .bin, .iso, .zip, .whatever does not tell you what emulator to use. You have to know what system the game you have is for and put that file(s) into the proper rom folder. That’s it
If you don’t know what systems it is for, we don’t know.
