        @Majekaz Which scraper ?
        Artwork is usually coming from the a website like screenscraper.fr/thegamesdb.net/openretro.org, some of them have higher resolution artwork, but most of them are not. You can use an external scraper (like Skyscraper/AARM) to choose a different artwork source, but ultimately the source site (where the artwork is hosted) is responsible for the images/videos provided.
        Of course, you can replace the images with your own - if you have it - just by overwiting the scraped images or just adding your own. See the docs for the format of the gamelist file which holds the path to artwork/video/metadata/etc.

            @Majekaz Try to use ARRM (Windows only), it has an interface to edit the gamelist which could be faster and less error prone.

                I don't care that much about high quality images on the front-end.

                    @Majekaz it's programmed only to turn on once it hits a certain temperature. Till it does. It will just sit there

                          @Majekaz sorry. No idea.
                          As it's been mentioned in different posts. Retropie support for the pi5 is not complete yet. So there is and will be issues.

                          I know mine will just lockup for 5 min for no reason.
                          They are working on it. I can't even start to tell you where look for what's going on in your system

                              @Majekaz Retropie is not designed to run through a desktop.
                              You can but it can lead to issues. I don't know how to do that.

                              As I use it with out a desktop as it was designed for.

                                @ExarKunIv one more question my friend. Did you played super mario bros 3 on retropie? Did you noticed like screen ghosting? Then you running with mario you can see like ghosting contour of question mark boxes and green pipes and other things. Is it supposed to be like this or need set some settings?

                                  I have not played anything on my Pi5 with Retropie.

                                  I'm testing scripts for my Retropie extras

                                  It will probably get fixed once there is a official release. Till then there will be oddball issues like that.

                                  You can always make a new post and see what other people might have to say about it
