Toca Race Driver 2 for PPSSPP and Lr-PPSSPP graphic Glitches
-
Does anyone know if there is a cheat or patch or settings i can configure to get Toca race Driver 2 to display in ppsspp or lr-ppsspp for retropie without those weird band glitches? I have d/led the latest versions.

Is it this issue?

I'll have a go with the game later, what's your hash for the game and ppsspp versions? As I think mine is the ppsspp-dev from RetroPie Extras
Edit: Yeah the lines exist on ppsspp-dev as well. Appears that issue that affected Android above is the same for raspberry pi.
Out of curiosity I had a try at running the ps2 version on aethersx2 on my pi 5, in software render mode it runs about 25fps but with very choppy audio, but it's a pretty late release PS2 game so not too surprised it won't run

Yes, that's it. There is some sort of cheat ini file posted to make it much more tolerable, but I have no clue how to do a cheat as an ini file for ppsspp. It's too bad that issue has not been fixed in all this time . Thanks for looking into the issue with me!

@retropieuser555 Anything new on a fix for these glitches or a preferred setting on lr-ppsspp or standalone ppsspp?

I have seen similar graphical glitches with Driver 76. I get rid of them when I run the emulator with Vulkan enabled. Maybe this fixes the issue with this game. I am using Pi5 and bookworm 64.
