not for me

It has been almost a week with the Raspberry Pi 5 "Granted this is my first one" I was sold on an emulation dream VIA YouTube, oh get a Raspberry Pi and you can run retropie with retro achievements. I'm sure that is true but it has been nothing but headaches for me I have 50+ hours of YouTube videos, google searching, etc and I just can't get it to work how I want it it's literally one issue after the other.
Oh you got it to connect SSH 10+ hours
Oh you got it to find the games 12+hours
Oh the sound doesn't work half the time "Do not use a PS5 or PS4 Controller"
Oh it only scrapes half your games VIA either database.
Oh Sega CD doesn't work just blows your ear drums out with "SEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" then boots back to the rom list
Oh N64 is so pixilated it looks 10X worse than playing on the actual console
Oh you cannot stream/capture the video even though you're running at a supported resolution
Oh dream cast games don't work even though you installed the correct Emulator?
Oh if you install Retropi over Raspberry OS using LAN you cannot connect VIA wifi in retropie/retroarch SSID/passphrase Error'sThe list goes on I was expecting something way more user-friendly sure I can pay 300.00 USD to some group that has everything pre-configured for a 512GB SD card but that 100% defeats the purpose of me doing it myself. This is 10000000000X easier to setup VIA PC or even a mini PC I just don't see how this is a viable solution to an average person.
All I wanted was a little box tucked away that I could play ROMs on from the very first console to up to PS2, stream, has achievements, and next to no chord clutter
Maybe I'll just use my spare computer with Duel Xeion and a Rtx 3070 in it that I use to run Plex and game servers on as an emulation box as the Raspberry Pi just doesn't cut it for the price but I wanted this to travel with to friends houses as its just a tiny box a power box and a mini HDMI.
Can someone please help me please? I'm just super frustrated here and at my wits5

I believe from your writings that you do not have the free time or the inclination to learn new things. Therefore, I think that the Raspberry Pi/RetroPie might not be the best choice for you.
All-in-one SD card solutions don't offer support and, most importantly, they are illegal. They act like nails in the coffin for projects like RetroPie.
Also, getting help from YouTube videos is a very bad idea. Always prefer the official RetroPie documentation: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/

I think it's emulation in general that is not for you.
Also, those illegal pre-configured sd cards you are talking about don't really work : their buyers encounter tons of issues with them, don't get support from the sellers, then try to get support from this forum (but won't get any for obvious reasons).

you provided zero help at all I have gone trough hours

you provided zero help I have gone through hours and hours of going through the DOCs and I still have issues you claiming I do not have the time to learn new things is mute as I have clearly stated how much time I have invested thus far Please give viable assistance or please don't comment

@barbudreadmon Again another comment with zero solutions
how is a preloaded SD card Illegal? the only thing that would make it illegal is if it has roms on there of games you don't own and aren't in the freeware stage so you saying they're illegal is actually incorrect. A preloaded SD card with zero roms on it but all the other information and settings predone would be 100% legit and at least it would avoid dealing with sub par support with people saying the x64 platform isn't supported when clearly it is with thousands of videos proving it
reaspberry pie orange and 5 clearly work it seems to me retropie needs to reach out to these freelancers and get their source code or up their game pi 5 has been out almost a year and the freelance scene is doing better than retropi.

@XxRLGxX Insulting/attacking other forum memers, which have a point, is not something we like in these forums.
Take some time to cool off, or maybe find another solution for your gamning needs if you don't find RetroPie as easy as it was 'advertised' in some Youtube videos.
