Pi Model or other hardware: 2B
    Power Supply used: CanaKit
    RetroPie Version Used 4.8
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website 32GB Sandisk Ultra, using RaspBerry Pi Imager
USB Devices connected: Wireless logitec keyboard, Kootek wifi, Anker micro USB adapter with a 64GB Sandisk Ultra for ROMs
    Controller used: Logitec keyboard

Error messages received: No errors, but I am looking for help configuring my video settings using lr-snes9x2010. I have attached an image of the settings and an image of the game. I do realize this is a 10 year old Pi 2B that a friend just gave me, but I was expecting a touch better image. This is Donkey Kong Country. Could the issue just be poor quality ROM?

What's wrong with the game image you have ? From the screenshot it's not obvious what could be wrong. What would be a 'better image' for you ?

@mitu I just felt like it's way more pixelated than what I would have thought it should be. Certainly not nearly what it was off the original console, but that was to be expected.

I don't think it is, but you can bump the resolution if you can, so RetroArch can scale the image. You can also enable smoothing in the video options from the configuration editor or apply a smoothing shader.

@mitu Thank you, that's helpful. I will try that when I am home.
