Can't boot into EmulationStation

Built From: Manual install using this guide: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Manual-Installation/
USB Devices connected: 2 8BitDo controllers
Controller used: 8Bitdo Ultimate 2C Wired
Error messages received: No error message received

How to replicate the problem: I wish I knewI'm working headless, able to SSH in, transfer files, and have configured for auto-staring EmulationStation:

When I SSH in and try: nohup emulationstation &

You don't have EmulationStation installed - you either didn't install it or the installation failed (look in
$HOME/RetroPie-Setup/logs
for installation logs).
