      @meleu

The best way to away keep up to date on Mame/Arcade is to have the latest Mame and Mame Rollback Roms.
I have not rebuild FBA yet to correspond to Mame 0.175 so i cant say.
But i do regularly update my Mame sets when new versions come out.

Anyone get cps2 games working? None work for me. I'm not 100% sure my games are updated..I just extracted update packs upto 0.175.
          woops. here's my log:
          Parameters: 0 SYS fba /media/usb0/fba/sfa3.zip
          Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fba-next/fbalpha_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/fba/retroarch.cfg "/media/usb0/fba/sfa3.zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

Update: Tried it on pc mame since that'll spit out an error that will help me. Looks like it was missing its .key file. I guess these updates packs didn't update the cps2 games

@juice You can update the binaries
                  https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Updating-RetroPie

Obviously you should get the relevant romsets as well.

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

thanks floob, i would like to say a big thanks for your image and videos, you made me a very happy man. i am a hyper spinner for years and the stress of setting that up was hidious and rewarding at the same time, this is so simple and on a pi3 aswell . will you be updating a new image in the future.

ps one other question, i am having trouble with a few sega system 16 games, they have very scratchy sound (ie altered beast at the start when he say rise from your grave and in golden axe when you kill the 1st few the samples are scratchy and pitched to high). could you test these if you have time you confirm if this is the emulator or not i have tryed it on both fba next and mame2003. i have the correct romset

thanks mate keep up the good work

Mame-2010 is the only emulator that'll run most of them with good sound. I use that with Altered Beast, Dynamite Dux, E-Swat, Golden Axe and Shinobi. Moonwalker runs way too slow on my PI2 so I have to use the old lr-mame4all for that one.

that would be great , but make sure you include these clones

@meleu I'm sorry but this is beyond my knowledge.

These dat files where generated from the Windows version of Final Burn Alpha 0.2.97.39.

I have tried romlister and so forth but cant for the love of @£$€€{{{ figure out how to use is.

Maybe you can ask @Floob cause he seems to know what he is doing :)
