      Upboard Box
      Running Unbuntu 16.04 64 Bit
      Retropie 4.1.1.

USB Xbox Wired 360 Controllers not working in game. It works just fine in the menu's but doesn't work on any games, the controller is not being detected .

Works just fine in the OS on Unbuntu, I have the xbox drivers installed and I can configure the controller.
I can move around the menu in Retropie with the controller as soon as I lunch any game or any rom the controller cuts out

I have been trying to do the F1 on the keyboard and having it load a custom controller it shows 4
      Retropie
      Xbox Wired User 0
      Xbox Wired User 1
      Xbox Wireless
      Xbox Wirless

Been really playing around with the retoarch menu I have it set to save
      Imput 1
      Imput 2
      Imput 3
      Imput 4

Doing 4 player games with different imputs no matter what I don't I can get it to see the controller in game. Has anyone used a Xbxo 360 wired controller with Unbutu 16.04 yet?

I have tired all 4 USB ports on this upboard unit but I'm unable to get the controller to pick up in games. I have the config set and 777 permission into the folder

I have installed the retropie xbox 360 controller setup, tried it both enabled and disabled same issue.

      I'm pretty stuck right now

I am still having issues with this.

I have my 4 inputs I can select my Xbox 360 wired controller in the configure. I have tired all the different USB ports no matter what game or emualtor my controller isn't getting picked up

Works just fine in the Retopie Menu, I can move click it gets detected as a device I can make the key no issues.

Has anyone got a wired Xbox 360 controller and Retopie working ? I am one of the few people running a GEN 1 upboard as well so not many people with my issue for sure.

If anyone cares who is using the upboard 14.04 worked JUSt perfect both controllers worked in game so avoid 16.04 right now and sick with 14.04
I need to make sure my opengl is running right and make sure my HDMI audio is in working but good so far

The more i play with my Ubuntu up board the more I really like my pi3 to be honest it's cheaper and better less bugs and just all around runs better

You can get better performance if you do like Windows based emulators and turn up the detail but you are then limited on space. Sick with a pi 3 it's the best platform for retropie right now.
