      Hi all,

I've scraped the game with the built-in sselph scraper. I chose the option to use the rom folders for the gamelist.xml file and the images folder (called images).

Though, after reboot, I cannot see any images (nor description) in the retropie GUI under any system.

Any help about this issue would be appreciated. Google didn't help much on this.

      Thanks in advance!

I forgot! My Roms were all zipped. I unzipped them, each to a separate folder INSIDE the nes/snes rom folder.

Might this be the issue. Should the files (nes or smc file types) be directly inside the rom folder, and not in a subfolder?

        Thanks in advance!

              Hi!

The issue was resolved removing all subfolders and keeping only the rom files (.nes, .sfc...) directly in the system rom folder (NES folder, SNES folder, ...)

Other issue I have now: Some appears as duplicates entries, though I do not have duplicate roms (I double checked). Any idea why? (all my roms are no-intro roms)

              Thanks in advance!

@mo418 possible regional variations of the games?

                  Thanks for the prompt reply.

                  Let me give an example.

For SNES, I have one instance of the rom A.S.P. - Air Strike Patrol (USA).sfc

In the retropie GUI, There are 2 instances.

                  I saw this post
                  https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/5048/handling-of-duplicated-rom-titles-in-emulationstation-after-scraping
Maybe I should use the No-intro name option?

ooooooooooh, just found the rom on a certain website. It says: Air Strike Patrol is an isometric jet fighter shooter developed by SETA for the SNES. It was released in Europe by System 3 Software, where it was known as Desert Fighter.

I also have Desert Fighter in my list!

I think that's the reason why

To sum up, you were right. My duplicate entries are due to the fact that I have the same game twice, but with a diffrente name (see example above) because it was released in another country.

All my issues are solve at the moment. I only have to take the time to manually remove the duplicate games.

                      Thanks for your help!!
