    Hi there, hopefully somebody can help me.

    I recently got my Raspberry Pi 3 running RetroPie and all has gone well until trying to get 2 players up and running on the PlayStation 1 emulator.

    Both controllers work and the analog sticks work just fine on controller 1 but not controller 2. All the settings for controller 2 are the same. I am using Xbox 360 controllers. If anyone can help me, or if this is already a thread, I would appreciate it. I couldn't find it anywhere.

    Thanks in advance!

      @dannyc123 Do you have the Player 2 controller set to analog in the core options?

      From: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/playstation-1

      Analog Controller Type

      "lr-pcsc-rearmed controller type can be changed in-game and in a configuration file to support games that require the analog/dualshock controller type.
      NOTE: Games that do not support analog controls will be unresponsive in this mode.

      • Use the Retroarch GUI hotkey(default select+X) in-game
      • Navigate to Quick Menu -> Core Options
      • Change Pad # Type from standard to analog

      Retroarch-core-options.cfg will be updated automatically when a game is exited, so there is no need to set save on exit"

      Older PSX games do not support analog, so you have to go in and change the pad type to standard in order for the D-pad to control those games.

        @mrbwa1 Thanks for the reply.

        All the pads in the options are set to Analog. This is what is confusing to me, controller 1 works just fine, but is set up exactly the same as controller 2.

        Maybe I'm missing something blindingly obvious?

        Thanks again.

          You might want to check out this thread: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2565/retropie-psx-emulator-only-1-controller-works/22

          I am running original PSX/PS2 controllers on a dual PSX adapter, so it doesn't seem to be affected by the problem you are seeing (that or my configs are just really old and not affected).
