Metal Slug 2 overlay for lr-mame2003 (and lr-fbalpha)

@UDb23 This kind of content:

@meleu I see; that's a lot of information to fit on the display . Not sure there's enough space on screen; maybe it can be done reducing the game area a little bit and/or showing only some selected fighters.
I'll have a look into it and let you know. -
@UDb23 yeah, maybe it won't be very trivial to do for The King of Fighters, due to the big number of characters.
If you let me choose another game, I would ask for a Marvel vs Capcom move list overlay. It has 15 characters.
-
@meleu received. You May get an overlay for Christmas ;-)
-
@UDb23 Do you have the package with the image and configs for this overlay?
-
@meleu Can package them, sure. Over the weekend.

@UDb23 I'm used to play neogeo games with lr-fbalpha, and this overlay works just fine with it. Maybe it's worth to mention on the first post of this thread. ;-)
-
@meleu That's valuable info !
These overlays should work with any libretro mame emulator but I wasn't sure if aspect ratio, and therefore actual game area size in pixels, is exactly the same in every libretro mame core.
I didn't test with lr fba ... so thanks for your help! -
@UDb23 Thanks once again. I am going to gobble up everyone of these you make.
-
@UDb23
Just wanted to say thank you for the overlays.
I use the Metal Slug 2 and Marvel vs Capcom overlay with the lr-fbalpha core and it works like a charm. Looks very nice.
Please keep up the good work.
Is there some sort of listing of overlays you have done thus far? -

I tried to put these files here, but I've been busy and it's not up to date. I'm planning to put it all there.
-
@FlyingTomahawk Glad you like 'em.
You're right I should start keeping a "global" list with a dedicated thread, like I do for the "Custom logos pack".
Will start soon.As @meleu said there's also his repository where he kindly keeps track of the overlays.
