      [RESOLVED]

      Hi all !
My controller : a official Controller PS1 with adaptator USB doesn't work with this game.
But I can access the retroarch menu from this game with SELECT + TRIANGLE

      I use lr-pcsx-rearmed + BIOS SCPH1001.bin (Raspberry PI 3 Model B) + Retropie 4.1

Do you have an idea to fix this problem?

      Thanx for your help

I'm dealing with my own problems wanting multiple controllers being player one(not at once), I think I got it, but as far as your problem goes, megaman x4 is working fine for me on an old ps1 controller with a radioshack usb adapter. You can try and check in Retroarch menu/Settings/Input/Input User 1 Binds/ and make sure your controller is the one in the "user 1 device index". Also make sure the buttons are properly binded. Mine weren't.
Do other psx games work fine? odd if they do.

          Hi Darksavior.

My controller is configured correctly in Settings/Input/Input User Binds.
My controller work perfectly with another psx game and emulator too. (NES, SNES .....)
          The buttons are properly binded.

This is the only game that doesn't work.

I try with PS3 controller and doesn't work too. But I can access Retroarch's Menu with PS3 controller while Megaman X4 running.

@TitQuentin BIOS isnt a part of the bios name is it? It isnt supposed to be but im not sure what you meant because you put it in all caps.

                Hi edmaul69 !

While Megaman X4 running my controller doesn't work in game. For exemple I can't skip movies with Start Button.
I can't chose "New Game" "Continue" with up and down buttons.

But when I press SELECT + TRIANGLE the Retroarch menu appears.

And the bios is well "SCPH1001.BIN" and not "BIOS SCPH1001.bin"

Edit : I convert all psx game to PBP format with psx2psp

@TitQuentin ok. Back to my deleted post. Go into rgui. Go into quick menu. Go to core options and change the controllers from analog to normal or vice versa. You might have to change all 8 players due to a glitch in the emulator
