    I'm a Retropie/Linux newbie.

So far I have been able to get my retropie up and running, bluetooth controllers connected, and roms working all through tutorials and guides on here and youtube. However, I have been having issues with the audio on my SNES roms dropping out every 5-10 seconds. Seems to be a consistent issue with all my SNES roms and a couple of my N64 and Megadrive roms. I have changed my default emulator from lr-snes9x2010 to PiSNES as I've seen suggested with no luck improving the audio. I have also gone through the audio menu in the retropie setup menu and selected HDMI which also did not fix the issue. I have read that forcing HDMI in boot/config.txt and also updating retroarch.cfg with audio_out_rate = 44100 can improve the audio for some folks. But to be perfectly honest, I don't know how to go about making those changes and have not had luck finding directions to do so for someone like me that doesn't know linux. I am able to get to the command screen but from there don't know the next steps to take. So I was hoping someone could point me to a more beginner level guide or provide a more step by step process to make those changes or any other suggestions on how to fix the audio issue.

Pi Model: Raspberry Pi 3 model B
    Power Supply used: Canakit 2.5A
    RetroPie Version Used: 4.1
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
    USB Devices connected: keyboard
Controller used: PS3 Dual shock 3 sixaxis connected via bluetooth
    Emulator: lr-snes9x2010

Thanks and I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
