    Hi guys!
    I'm on retropie 4.1 with attract mode and xin-mo encoder.
    That's a strange issue, when i remap the button of player1, on next reboot player 2 will have up and down, and select and start inverted.
    how can i fix this?

    usb quirks strings added.

      @Darth_Farter87 you have player one or two wired wrong? Swap up and down and start and select wires on one of them. Try to find the wrong one.

        @edmaul69
        the wirings of two player it's ok and correct.
        i wrote on sd a back up, so first i boot retropie with emulationstation.
        i delete input emulation station and reboot.
        first i remap only the player 1 and then reboot.
        same situation p1 ok, p2 y axis and sel+start inverted.
        Update: i go to retroarch gui for remap all buttons : player 1 y axis inverted, player2 doesn't work

          @Darth_Farter87 so is it backwards in emulationstation? If so i would make sure player ones wires are correct too. If everything is correct then you may have to swap the wires. This is only if it is messed up in emulationstation.

            @Darth_Farter87 also if you go into retroarch game and try to play a two player game without going into rgui what happens. Can you post you contents in /boot/cmdline.txt?

              hey mate, i'm stupid.
              i wiring alla exactly buttons and joy of player 1 in player 1 side of xin mo.
              and player 2 in p0 side of xin-mo.
              i unmount all wirings, and so, i after swap all wiring:
              so
              player 1wired to p0 side
              player 2wiredto p1 side

              joystick of player 1 and 2 in up and down movements WORKS,
              select and start of p1are swapped after mapping and reboot,
              select and start of p2the same swapped after mapping and reboot,

              i can fix this about swapping select and start of player1?

              here my cmdline.txt

              # code block
              dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0
              console=serial0,115200
              console=tty2 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2
              rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes
              rootwait quiet loglevel=3 logo.nologo consoleblank=0
              usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040
              plymouth.enable=0
