      @sumerian If you want to play ROMs from a USB rather than transferring them to your Pi this can also be achieved. All the instructions are in the wiki. I don't do it myself. I have 300+ hand chosen ROMs on a 32GB card. I still have 21GB available, even with all the other stuff I have on the card. Saying that, I don't use anything over 16bit Systems and standalone MAME/ aracade games. Full ROM sets are pointless, with too much crap and not needed by the "ordinary" gamer.

          @columboscoat I try that now and it said when I click on Retropie setup it takes me to make a black screen with code and says installing packages needed and then says unable to install packages

                        @Bear-Claw ok. Lets go back to the start. The first thing I would recommend is reinstalling the image. And then everyone knows you have a stock set-up.

                                  @Bear-Claw in the main ES GUI choose Retropie then RetroPie Setup Update RetroPie Setup Script...

                                          @Bear-Claw i am having the same issue i have tried all the solutikns i have found but my flashdrive has been blinking for 5 hours now i am also using a scandisk 32 is that the problem?
