roms folders are not created when usb drive is in raspberry pi
-
If this service is enabled and he copies ROMS to the USB flash into the newly created folders and then reinserts the USB into the retropie does it auto copy of the roms to the internal storage or simply play them from the USB?
-
@sumerian It should copy them to the SD card inserted in the Pi.
-
@sumerian If you want to play ROMs from a USB rather than transferring them to your Pi this can also be achieved. All the instructions are in the wiki. I don't do it myself. I have 300+ hand chosen ROMs on a 32GB card. I still have 21GB available, even with all the other stuff I have on the card. Saying that, I don't use anything over 16bit Systems and standalone MAME/ aracade games. Full ROM sets are pointless, with too much crap and not needed by the "ordinary" gamer.

@columboscoat thank you very much, I hope I didn't hijack this too much.

-
@Bear-Claw ok. Lets go back to the start. The first thing I would recommend is reinstalling the image. And then everyone knows you have a stock set-up.
-
doing that right now
-
@Bear-Claw Cool, let me know when you are done. I would like to help you. Also ensure you have the github install instructions available. They help too!
