Nintendo Switch - Whats your view?

Sales is not where I'm looking in the future. Probably woodworking or programming.

I hate sales too haha
Both woodworking or programming are honorable professions. I have done them both but somehow I settled on computer technician. I wasn't that great at programming and I was too slow and too much of a perfectionist for woodworking.

@backstander Well...if those don't work out for me, then I'll have to stick with bowling. Good thing I have time before that decision is to be made.

You gotta love John Turturro!

@backstander Actually never seen that movie, and no I don't bowl like him. Though I would laugh if anyone actually did bowl like that on our team.

@lilbud
How about this?
-
@backstander For me, less disco splits and more almost falling into the lane :)

You should, Cohen brothers's movies are really good.

@Nismo, well yes 1980's, 1990's, some 2000's, but yes 1080p is the "norm" in 2017. All I meant by that is we're so into all sorts of games from all generations and we don't really care about resolution most of the time. The cost of Nintendo Switch is reasonable to me, not at all based on the resolution of the system output, but the design elements that went into having an HD system such as this. I imagine Nintendo could go with some graphics chip comparable to a GTX1080, but how would that affect cost? How would that affect the form factor they were going for? There are so many elements to consider with what chipset they chose other than being "cutting edge 3D." This isn't about horsepower to them. And sure, that could hurt 3rd party support now and even more so later with 3rd party games that require power.

That's what impresses me so much about Nintendo. They always take whatever path is required to achieve their own personal vision, despite whatever the current trends are. Sure, it might be the death of them some day, but as long as that vision falls in line with what most people expect out of a Nintendo experience, I think they'll continue to be OK well into the future.
-
@GreenHawk84 Yes, people like us that like games doesn't matter the power, but in my humble opinion Nintendo switch it's a good console for about 200-240 euros but not 330 euros.
Unfortunately, the lack of the power also lack third party games... almost good quality third party games. I hope i'm wrong and switch will receive a lot of games in the future.
I'm sure everybody who buy this console will enjoy a lot. Like I said before, if you like the console, nintendo games, and you have the money, go for it.
Regards.

I don't see any issue with Switch's pricing (its build cost being around 220 euros)

@barbudreadmon The price is fine, but I still can't find one for sale.
