Config Editing for GBA emulator

Hey there guys,
I've just finished my first Gameboy Zero Project and I've encountered a tiny weeny issue.
I did not realise that the GEN 3 Pokemon games don't play with the GBA emulatr Lr-GBSP.
I want to change it to VBA-NEXT as I know that works but I can't access the runcommand with the set up I have as it won't recognise my A button as enter for some reason.
So I know I can edit the config file in the GBA folder in opt. But I don't know what to type to get what I desire.
Would some who is using VBA be ever so kind to post there config or tell me what to change.
