People ask that all the time and for some reason nobody (i.e. people in the know) seem to answer....it's like it's a shunned topic for some reason I don't know (neither have I EVER been on a forum that doesn't have a PM/private message option)....just weird all the way around if you ask me ;) ummm, maybe we don't talk about Fight Club? lol

@Dochartaigh It's been answered. https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3381/forum-chat-function - There is an IRC channel #retropie on freenode though.

                  Hey all,

I am familiar with Retropie and Emulationstation, but i have only recently discovered ATTRACT MODE. I have to say, it's absolutely amazing.

I have a question, though... I downloaded an image for my RPI3, and the attract mode and everything is working - the wheels, the roms, etc... On the very main screen where you scroll through the wheel of your available emulators, the artwork shows a cartoon girl with an Atari symbol on her clothing, and it says "New Retro Arcade Neon" on the top. What is this particulat artwork placeholder called? Is this considered the splash screen?

The reason that I ask is that i'd like to figure out how to swap that for another picture....

                  Thanks in advance!

Fair enough. I'm not sure what in the heck happened with the formatting, I was rushing to post as I was leaving for the day.

@Corykrist1 Sorry, I can only support my clean build, not one shipped with roms etc..
You may want to try the Attract Mode shipped with RetroPie now in the experimental section.

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

@Corykrist1 Ah, I see. Well to configure a controller it should be using the same setup as in ES.
So try playing a game in ES and see if your controller works, make sure it is a RetroArch based emulator you try.

If you have issues, place your controller file on pastebin.com - its in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

                                  Hi Floob,

I've installed your attract mode image and am really enjoying it. Everything is working awesome, except for Kodi. And I'm really stuck with this. Would really appreciate some help.
