I purchased a Raspberry Pi 3 recently and had installed Retropie flawlessly. After a few weeks I tried getting creative by messing with different files which ended up making some of my ROMS to stop working. After getting frustrated trying to figure out how to fix the issues, I decided to use the uninstall option from the Retropie menu and start over. I'm now trying to re-install Retropie 4.1 and now I'm getting errors on boot up and won't install. I've attached a picture of the screen. I'm new to the Raspberry Pi and I don't really know linux code, and can't find any answers to this online. Thank you!!!

@kingpin803 if you are unfamiliar you should just start from a fresh image as that is simplest - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

Those are not errors - they are normal boot messages - your system is just not set to autostart into retropie. If you want to manually fix it, you need to re-run retropie-setup and go to "Configuration / Tools / Autostart" and set emulationstation to start on boot.

@BuZz thanks for the quick reply. I am starting with a fresh image. I was just assuming it would launch like it had last time for me. To re-run retropie-setup, is there a command line to access that from this screen? I appreciate the help

@kingpin803 If you removed it - you would need to manually re-install - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Manual-Installation/

@BuZz thanks, this seems pretty straight forward. Hopefully I won't screw it up lol
