Volume Control slider/wheel
-
Currently messing with a Famicom Pi case, using the original controllers but, with a modern USB connector.
I wondered, if I switched the USB cable to some thin 6 core instead, would it be possible to wire the Pi headphone jack into the controller speaker, tricky bit adding the volume control.
The original board has a tiny speaker that I was thinking about trying to use...
The new USB board is a fraction of the size of the original
So was wondering on the chances of maybe putting a small 3.5mm headphone jack in as well...Wiring along the lines of Pi Jack - Head Phone Controller Jack - Volume - Speaker, as when using the headphone jack, would want the speaker muted.
Struggling to find any slider controls for volume, may go with a wheel control if I can find some headphones small enough.
Any pointers on if this is possible.

@MadRikXIV if you remove the mic chip and capacitor on the original board you could rewire that volume slider on the board to be used
