Snes controller not working with Neo Geo

Can anyone help me out I get the ROMs to work but my controller does not want. I am running the fba emulator and loads up all Roms perfect but I cannot do anything. I press all buttons and no reaction

@chuskie Hi, did you config the emulator? I had the same with mame, just boot a game and config your controller in the emulator and you are good to go.

@sandroid can u tell me how. i was told when it boots up push the tab button with keyboard and config from there, but when i do it doesnt do anything and controller does not respond at all

Whats the name of the emulator. I bet it's not a libretro emu.

Try and do reset all the buttons otherwise try and reset the SNES controller with keyboard.
