NES LED Wiring with Only 5 wires
-
Hey all,
I did some looking and couldn't seem to find a solution I understood...
Im completely new when it comes to electrical things. So I apologize now.
I have the controlblock, everything is working for the most part. However in using the original NES front panel board (PWR, RESET, LED). I can get power working. But there are only 5 wires on the board. 2 for power, 2 for reset, and 1 for LED (I think? Idek..) what should I do to accommodate the LED? Do I need to splits into an existing wire?
Any help is much appreciated!

@brettsalyer one side of the led goes to ground. The other goes to 5v from power switch. To make it work for me i didnt use a control block or anything but i had to desolder the led and flip it around to work. I dont know if there is voltage going through the switch on a controlblock though.

@edmaul69 I know normally you're supposed to just wire the positive and negative ends to the appropriate pins on the control block. They're specifically marked. But im not sure what to do at this point. Thanks for your reply
