Image updated. I just recreated in vectors the instruction sheet scan; original bitmap was too bad to be used directly. Colors were the original... but I agree on that background they were not so readable.
Overall quality is not in line with my own standards but couldn't find any good source files, as said.Therefore I created something looking like the typical NEO GEO machine/cpo.

Unfortunately I have no talent for woodwork. I bought from a guy who makes these cabinets and controllers. And then I've put my raspi2 in it. I use this video that @Rookervik made as boot splashscreen and it looks really great on my cabinet:

I'm not a soccer fan, but I gave this game an honest try, and I'm awful at it. I was never a fan of sports video games. Then again, I'm not really a sports guy in general.

I gave it a few tries during the weekend, and these were my results:
Overall, I preferred the World Championship as the SNK one feels like cheating since, if you want to try to max out your score, you can always pick the weakest teams to play against.
3 Matches, +5 goal difference. Not anything to really brag about, but this is so silent here that I want to at least get some traction :)

The days are flying past here, and I barely get enough chance to try out the MAMEROW never mind get a decent score, I'm afraid!
I'm going to give this one another go though as I really enjoyed it.
This weeks ones look interesting too - particularly that roller blading one!
