MAME ROW #31 - Snow Bros. 2

@obsidianspider I was used to play Snow Bros (with the old elves?) in the NES when I was a kid. I like it, but didn't like this version with new elves.
I remember I played a game named Rollergames in the NES in the old days too. This arcade and the NES versions have the same logo but seems to be different. I wanna give it a try this week, then it got my vote.

Oh my. What an atrocious game - and I concur that that player select screen can cause several levels of trauma and lead to ongoing therapy if you stare at it for long.
It's amazing how they on one hand repurpose the level layouts of the first game, but lose all the charm and what makes Show Bros 1 so special. It seems this isn't even developed by Toaplan, who made the first one?
I got 33610 points. I am not sure I'll go back for a retry. It's a low score - level 5 or so I think.
Unless we're turning this into an endurance test :)Let me know how you all go - and do try the first one out of you have the chance. Don't let this one discourage you. Unless it's really a good game underneath and one of you sells me on it :)

The lightning guy seems to work best for me. Being able to pick up the enemy and then fire when you want to is a big help in being able to line up combos. I got as far as the second world boss, but can't get past his nose missiles.
