      Yet another Shmup: Air Gallet

Search for artwork for this game results in multiple low res images like this:

After more deep research it comes out that the Pilot image (a really nice shot btw), is not part of the original game Flyer.

      Someone adapted this airforce image:

Took me a while to find a real high res game flyer image; this one was the best:

Deskewed, cropped and restored pic was then used to make the overlay.

Note: F-15XX is one of the planes you can select.
It was supposed to be an evolution of F15 but the success of the F-22 program made the F-15XX remain a paper-only project.

Note 2: vertical stabilizers (the "tail fins") on F15s are straight and parallel while the F15 in the game has angled fins. ;-)

You can find this and more hand crafted quality overlays in the rpie-ovl repository.
And if you want an easy way to install them, @meleu created a great dedicated script.
Perform these commands on your RetroPie:

      cd
      git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/meleu/rpie-art
      cd rpie-art
      ./rpie-art.sh

After launching rpie-art.sh script you just have to follow the instructions in the dialog boxes. Once you have the rpi-art.shscript, choose the Update option to get all the latest art in the repository.

@UDb23 You could translate the image though

@DarkWolf Sure. Point is that finding right artwork and building these overlays takes significant amount of time.
Therefore it's a matter of priorities; I prefer first making good quality overlays available for players and later on possibly enhance them.

Some of these I created are a "first"; no other existed before, even for other emulators,
due to lack of quality original artwork images.

Main goal of overlays still is to replace the "ugly" black bars with nice graphics.
Instruction info is a nice to have.
Of course just my personal opinion. ;-)

@UDb23 Well, that was a really good reply. I'm not using these overlays at all, but I guessed it would be cool to have them in english. But, huh, I understand what you are doing and why

@DarkWolf Forgot to mention: making overlays cause it's fun to me creating 'em.
And, of course, I agree english is way better.

If you do make an English version, make sure to also have this original one as well ;-)
